My Check Engine light came on on the way home from work. I'm getting a trouble code of 2-1-4. Does anybody know what it's trying to tell me? |

I don't see that code in the book. I see 24, which is the front coil. 2-1-4? |

I've checked it about six different times. I get two flashes, a pause, then one flash, pause, then four flashes. The bike was (and still seems to be) running fine, and the CEL came on. The Voltage Monitor is showing green, so the charging system is O.K.; the Exhaust Valve Actuator is cycling as it should and I'm getting good oil flow back to the swingarm. What are codes 25 and 34? I definitely am seeing two pauses, but maybe the ECM has a case of hiccups. |

My fan didn't come on today, so I suspect that the code is 14-Engine Temperature Sensor. It also would explain why my idle is doing funny things when the engine is warm. Anyway, I've made an appointment to have it checked out. |
