Just bought a brand new 2007 XB12X and love it! Found a deal in Mentor, Ohio at Western-Reserve Harley Buell for $8500. The only problem was that the dealer was 7 1/2 hours from my house. I searched and searched for another deal that was just competitive, not better) and I couldn't find one. I looked at every dealer between Southern Virginia (where I'm at) and Mentor, Ohio. Most that still had 07's had a firm price of $11500. I was even told by a local dealer that I should spend the gas money and head up to Ohio for a price like that. So that's what I did! My salesman is a guy called Evil and the bike was freshly uncrated, perfect. Well worth the drive.

Evil says that he still has more if anyone's interested! I'm really happy to be a new Uly owner.

Welcome and congratulations! Now it's time to get that shiny new (black?) bike a little dirty! Enjoy your Uly - I'm a recent buyer and love mine!

Yeah they were gearing up for that while I was there. I wish that I could have stayed for it.
I got the last black one that they had at that price but they still have the slower orange ones.

Thanks and congrats to you too! Every time I get on this bike I grin. I can't wait to see how it is after I've broken it in. Have you thought about a new exhaust? Drummer, Spec Ops?

My 2007 is slowly breaking in and is the most fun bike I've ever owned. I've got a SS Drummer on order. I put Gary's light bar on today. I'll probably mount the PIAA lights next week some time. I know exactly what you mean about the grin too LOL.

Cheers, Will

You can fool around with your Uly and find lotsa parts that don't do quite what you want or you can use this site to find stuff that works right.

Gary's lightbar is 100%. It will never fail, doesn't weigh squat and is priced right.
Special O.P.S muffler is 100%. Louder than stock but NOT TOO LOUD. Performance gains there too. It's easy to buy a pipe that's too loud or doesn't make power down low.
You don't have to spend a lot of $ on aux lights. I'm using aircraft landing lights in a sealed beam for $5 a bulb. I don't know why anyone would want more.

Enjoy your new Uly. I know what you feel...

I have,I went w/a local guy here in Boise,Idaho, very similar to the special Ops...Awesome!! My bike has been jumping in fuel economy as well..Started w/37 mpg and now 2000 miles later it is 46-48mpg..Great bike, the pipe just seals the deal for me,and now the fuel economy is just the icing! Enjoy!
