Thanks Nate  I have thought about it. A mates got a spare I'm going to try first. Here's my new muffler I've been working on sounds nice. Paint was still soft when I put it on! Doh!!    | ||

HA! You already chopped the pipe. My friend did a similar thing on his XB12s. He even made a plate that is held on with thumb screws to return the bike to stock audio output. | ||

jodie, congrats very much on the purchase. i would have thought that you would have gotten the x in stead of the xt but i'm sure the xt will do it's job just fine. and since it is the xt, where are the bags. they are going to give them to you aren't they. anyhow, i'm real happy for you and the mrs. now you just have to get her a blast and let her put around. | ||

Thanks chaps I like the look of the XT over the X, just personal opinion. The XT in Australia gets no bags as they did not pass our bullshit ADR's, But you can buy them seperatly which is crap! "how does it perform compared to the mutant?" It is a totally different animal! much smoother with lots less vibration. We had a big ride today, with Doug (1125CR) Cliff(XB12SS) Taz(XB12R) and Birdman(XB12X). Awesome ride and great company. Picked the bike up yesterday and just done 711k's The oil is on the add mark, So I'm going to change the oil and filter on Monday. It was nice to get to open the box Aussie I've already suggested that Michelle get her license and start riding the mutant but she is a bit scared of it! I have got some ideas for what I want to start changing Here's the guts of the pipe. Your lucky I was too busy to take any more pictures! Cheers Jodie             | ||

very nice and profesional looking job on the pipe. no doupt as to how talented you are for modifying. if not a blast than anything to get her on two wheels. it doesn't matter what she rides just as long as she ride. | ||

Just curious but do your 09 Ulysses run very rich when cold? I realise its meant to be like an auto choke but seems way too rich! I'm Worried it will foul the plugs. Also takes a couple of goes to start! is this normal? My old carb buell slight twist of the gas and thumb the starter and shes alive! very rarley use the enricher unless I want to put my helmet on to keep her running. Hoping that we can get ECMSPY to sort this. Cheers Jodie | ||

Yes they tend to be a little rich on startup, but nothing to be concerned over. The DDFI3 knows what its doing.
Some people have reported it, I never experienced it. Honestly am not sure on a solution at the moment.
Last I heard there was no further development on ECMspy other than bug fixes. | ||

Mine takes 2-3 tries when the temp. is around 40F or below. On warmer days it fires off first shot. | ||
