Just thought I would throw this out there. I'm sure there will be a discussion. I am on the stock syncs at 35psi front 37psi rear. feels good to me, but I'm a novice. Just read a post about advice to run them at 40psi Weigh in folks!  | ||

My XT calls for 34 front and 36 rear. I run them at 36-38 front and 38-40 rear. The tires seem to cup less with a few lbs. more air pressure. I have Diablo Stradas on now with 8K miles on them, the rear looks like it might have another 1K max left in it. I plan to change it out next week with a new Strada. | ||

I run the factory 616 pressures 36F/38R in my Syncs, works well for me. I generally run tires a pound or two above recommended for the particular vehicle. I have Diablo Stradas on now with 8K miles on them, the rear looks like it might have another 1K max left in it. I don't know how you guys do that, I tried a Strada rear once and vaporized it by 4K, I get 6K+/- with Syncs and got 7K+ on my first two 616 rears, different strokes I guess. | ||

I stopped second guessing the manufacturers recommendations for tire pressures, oil changes, etc. for any vehicle I own. By the book. I use the book values. | ||

Could tire wear have anything to do with the material they use in paving the local roads? Something has to explain the big differences in tire life from the same models of meats. Or are some just doing too many burnouts, which I have never done but am sure the Uly will do nicely!  | ||

Go fat on the pressure 38-42 - BUT go pay a tire store for Nitrogen - You will notice a nice improvement | ||

Yes, different areas will wear it down faster or slower. There is over a dozen factors to tire wear, most of them beyond your control. | ||

I fill mine to one pound over book (so, 35/37 on my XT) and check them once a week. I refill when they drop more than one pound below book. | ||
