Are there any site sponsors between Jacksonville, FL and Clearwater, FL?

My rear Distanzia will be pretty worn by the time I get to FL (from NYC) but I'd consider ordering a rear and having it installed down there if the pain isn't too great.

I just ordered a rear Strada for my XT from a small one man shop that is just around the corner from my work. $202.70 mounted and balanced. The cheapest place around here is Cycle Gear, but it's only about $5.00 less and it would take at least an hour more of my time.

jphish, equate it like this... what does it cost you if your car blows a tire at 75? -the cost of the tire. what does it cost you if your bike blows a tire at 75?

don't get me wrong, i grumble too every time i'm shelling out for a new tire, but it's clearly worth it.

Just another thing about frequent tire replacement. I just replaced tires on my sportbike. The old were not worn out, they were just "dried out". Put on new Qualifiers and the difference was night and day. Even if Uly tires lasted three years you would want to replace them just to get that virgin feel.
