Yesterday I attended the million mile event. (previously posted, million miles on same bike, a'91 Harley FXRT) rode with the Patriot Guard Riders and we escorted Dave Zien to Hals HD in New Berlin, just south of Milwaukee. A good couple of hundred people were there to congratulate Dave. Dave was presented with numerous plaques, one being from Mike Kneebone, President of the IronButt Association. I meet a few Ironbutters that I've ridden on events with. HD also gave Dave an '09 HD Road Glide as a good will gesture.  | ||

Just to clear something up. Dave's bike will be going to the Sturgis museum, not the HD museum. I was there and I must have seen ya. | ||

Yeah, I was the guy hanging out with the green Gator Nationals baseball cap and the complete Buell Adventure outfit, top and bottom. Got some odd looks from that since there weren't to many people there with bottoms on other than jeans or chaps. As soon as I have my photos up on Flickr, I'll leave a link. | ||
