So having gotten an 06 seat from a fellow bad weber over18 months ago I finally tried it. The stretch makes it hard on my hips in stop and go traffic but the oddness was that the bike seemed more twitchy, more reactive to my input and body motion. I even seemed to notice the surge more. Seems odd the taller seat would make all of this more noticeable. Has anyone else tried both and experienced this?

I'm starting to hear "Twilight Zone" music...
I just swapped from a low to stock '06 (high) and only noticed the comfort change. An inch or so difference in the CofG certainly could make a change in "feel" especially in a bike as responsive as Buells.

If anyone want to trade an '06 (high) seat for a corbin seat ( slightly lower than the '06 low seat), PM me.

I was surprised about hown the feel of the bike changed. I'm apparently 5'6.5" so the doc says. Funny in October I was 5'8" at the doc. Anyway I doubt I'm ready for any off road riding with the tall seat but on the streets it's good but not quite what I want yet. I could certainly feel less heat through the seat but the edges need rolled a little and the back slightly scooped I think. Hoping to ride it to Ca in a year or two to get it custom fitted we will see but as far as which seat is better the jury is still out. Both have good points and bad. I actually popped my hips out of alignment on the thing yesterday so of is time to get the core exercises going again.

Was hoping for some time to ride this weekend we went for almost 60 yesterday to snow now with possibly 10 inches by morning. Gotta love the great white north!

No biggie cajunrph little tweak on one side and it pops back in. Some have trick elbows and knees mines a hip. Problem goes away if I keep in shape been working to hard for awhile now to do a decent work out, time to make some time.
