Anyone fitted one? What are the advantages/disadvantages? Is it worth fitting?

Don't bother if you are running the stock pipe.

Thanks Froggy, at present, I have the stock pipe fitted and a K&N filter with '07 airbox.

I read on here that you could fit it with the stock pipe as long as the valve was wired open?

Would an xopti re-map be a better option?

Yes a remap is a better option. The Race ECM disables the exhaust actuator, so you will lose half the functionality of your exhaust. Wiring your exhaust open does the same thing.

The remap is also better because the Race ECM was intended for the race kit. A custom map will work better for whatever setup you have.
