I read on here that you could fit it with the stock pipe as long as the valve was wired open? The Race ECM disables the exhaust actuator, so you will lose half the functionality of your exhaust. Wiring your exhaust open does the same thing. The remap is also better because the Race ECM was intended for the race kit.
