Folks,

Is there an aftermarket knob that will fit onto the front preload adjuster nut? Some bikes have theses so you can adjust the preload without a wrench.

Those are rebound and compression damper adjuster wrenches, not preload adjuster wrenches.

Gents,

Yes Rwven is correct. The preload on my 2008 uses a wrench. I'll take those dimes though.

Trivia: What famous sailing ship is that on the dime?

I believe it's the Bluenose. My folks are from Campobello Island, New Brunswick. My Grandparents had a painting of the Bluenose hanging on their wall.

I found a set on the trojan-horse website! Now I just need to find them in the US.

I wonder if those will work with the handlebars so close to the adjusters.
Let us know what you find out.

Toronto, It's probably cheaper to ship from the UK than the States. I kid you not...

I just use a 3/4" socket on a medium extension, and a ratchet.

I'm pretty sure it's 3/4"...I'd have to check, but "a" socket in the right size works just fine and clears the bars.

Froggy,
It's not the entire navy. There is an inflatable raft too that's not shown on the dime.

My '06 Ulysses' Adjusters are 22mm - same size as the rear axle insert (as found in the tool kit).

'06 is much larger than 07-up. When they stopped the "count the lines" method of adjustment, the hex size changed significantly.
