No more lurking, I picked it up today. Trailered it home not knowing how well it would run after hibernating. Took it for a short test drive and on returning, couldn't turn into the driveway, needed to test a little more. That happened 3 times! 50 miles later it was in the garage. This thing's in better shape than the new '06 at the dealer that has been moved around for 3 years and they still want $8700 for theirs. While "testing" I noticed a strange occurrence, everywhere I drove I would be 10 mph over the limit as if your sense of speed is warped. Or maybe it just wants to go. Hopefully I can also contribute while I glean knuggets of knowledge from this forum. Hail Pegasus! |

Welcome to the board, I'm sure you will have the same perma-grin we all have. (you may want to have the speedo, looked at though, usually they seem to be 20 mph faster). |

My speedo (and my GPS's speedo) don't work either but can't bring myself to get it fixed just yet. Loving my new 06 too. |

Ron, congratulations - my '06 Uly is the absolute love of my life. They aren't perfect and need a little TLC from time to time but the riding experience is truly unique. There is an absolute truckload of technical info on this forum with large number of people willing to hop in and help so you have come to the right place! (Message edited by Rays on March 26, 2009) |
