I'm flying to Homossasa Florida Tuesday from upstate NY to get my (new to me) 08 Uly out of the inlaws garage to travel to Ft. Lauderdale on business thursday and friday. Cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to about 8 hours in the saddle (4 each way). Have an appointment at Madstad (which is right on the way) with Mark on Wednesday morning to throw on the madstad brackets and windshield too! I am PSYCHED!!!! | ||

i'll bet your looking forward to that like a kid at christmas time. of course you might want to consider bringing somekind of lock and cable for down there in fort lauderdale. it was bad when i lived down there(truck got stolin out of my driveway), i don't think it's gotten any better. hope you have a safe ride home. | ||

In Dania you can go to Jai-alai. Awesomely, dangerous sport that you can bet on and drink to. I suggest riding into John Lloyd Park at the northenmost end of A1A and watching the ships come in and out. Don't even try to count the number of helmet/gearless motorcyclists. Their numbers are greater than our national deficit. I am a former Native with extensive local knowledge. More info a PM away if you want it. NUTS |
