Clear, 55 degs and windy as h*ll today. Feels like spring, but you know they are just screwin' with ya. We are in for another month of snow and cold before its over. Tbox, I feel your pain..... Froggy, southern Ontario is farther south than northern California...... why doesn't that make me feel better  | ||

Mostly . . . "CRUD" . . . the Whelan lights, new mirrors (one broke when the bike got blown over by our baby hurricane) and I still have 2 sets of H.I.D. I've never gotten around to mounting and the Autoswtich. Screw it . . . I'll likely just put the mirrors on and go ride. | ||

What Whelen lights did you get - XP handguard lights? I've got my stock mirrors if you need a set, I changed over to CR mirrors a bit ago so I could put aux lights where the signals were. I might even be able to get all the crud and bugs off 'em, LOL. I'm with you though - go ride. We're going to Key West on Friday...it's gonna be great to go down there again (this is my 20-something'th trip), but I'm gonna be jonesing for a bike about six hours in, I'm sure. "Can I have another margarita, and is it OK to smoke my cigar here?". That'll fix it  Also...did you get my bag email the other day? Just want to make sure it got through... I got the TIR3's for the rear. I started to order the CR mirrors. . . put some pics up here . . . I think they'd look cool on the Uly. What bag e-mail? Tomorrow is "Buell Day" for a project I'm working on. . . let me check and if I didn't I'll get back to you. By the way . . . ever wonder where the term "Jones" came from? You know better than to ask me, right? | ||

Court - I sent you an email about the Ulysses bag stuff we talked about on the phone. If for some reason I sent it to the wrong addy, or you didn't get it, let me know and I can forward another copy to ya. TIR3's will get tailgaters' attention! I just got a sho-me 27-pattern flasher, but Kim was following me in the truck the other day and says my new brakelight (just the LED strip from a Back-Off plate frame, attached to the bottom of the topcase) is BRIGHT, so I might not make it flash after all. I've got a couple CR mirror pics on this thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/435419.html?1235224978 Since the initial install, I rotated the left base forward instead of where it is in the pic, and I've painted the 'spacers' texture black to match the rest of the bar stuff. They're working great, and when I come up to a stop sign at night with a signal on, I can *see* the sign flashing back at me. Cooool. |
