... for 9,995 out the door, taxes and all. But then I'm told that a 2008 XB12XT with only 5,000 miles on it is available for 8,895 , which is 4 grand less than a new one. I'll rarely ride two up, but the wife will want to ride sometimes. Neither do I have the time to tour, with a two year old son and a business to run. Still, I must ask those of you who have had both, or have an opinion for some other reason, as to which you would buy and why. Thanks!

For me, I just bought a 2008 XB12XT and it was def worth the extra. Not so much for 2 up for the added extras it comes with. I'm 6'5" and the XT fits me perfectly

I rarely ride two up on my XT, but I wouldn't replace it with anything else. My wife wouldn't have anything other than her Ss. Both are great bikes.
Look at both, and buy the one that grabs you. Every time you take it out for a ride, you'll be wearing that silly grin.

Yea but the Uly has a windshield so you won't have bugs in your grin. Also the Uly has a power outlet right on the dash so you can plug in goodies. Don't forget the SS lacks heated grips, and when you get to your destination you can't throw your gear in the trunk.

It pretty steep, almost a strait down drop off a cliff, you need to be a helicopter to ride out of that. Not to mention all the controls got ripped off, no way your feathering the clutch up in 4th! : D

the small one is for the gas tools and the larger one is for the rest of the tools. had to get that to make room for the bikes in the garage when i came back from greenville. or i would have had to take the uly bags off all the time.

and froggy, are you ever gonna let me live that down. of course i'm still sorry i had to drag you down with me.
