Anyone using Audio Bones? I'm wondering if they'd work inside a helmet.

Those look cool. I might have to check into those since I have a hearing problem already and ear buds don't always cut it for me.

http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/reviews/2009/02/aud io-bone.arsBefore you buy read this review. From the sound of it you're better off with ear buds.

I use a Scala Rider 2 in my helmet along with a Garmin Zumo GPS/MP3 player, and it works great.

I thought if might be a good way to keep the earplugs in, but still listen to tunes and gps.

I also use the scala rider 2 with awesome results with my gps and bluetooth phone. the review on the audio bones is right on. you need to have it very loud but the biggest downer for helmet use is the ambient helmet noise would drown out the music. I'm not trying to debate the safety of music/headphones while riding , thats another thread for sure, but audio bones just wouldn't hack it in a helmet.
