As some of you may remember, I had this problem a while back and ended up replacing the 2 bolts with studs I cut from all thread rod and fiberlock nuts. It seems like 2 of you said that the all thread rod was going to be a problem and it has been. It stretched. Today I went back to bolts but my riding partner Al, did something that made me pay more attention. He asked me for a flat file and we soon discovered that both mating surfaces are way far from flat. There aint no way it'll stay tight if the two surfaces are not bearing against each other within reason.
We had some pretty good fun getting those all thread rods coated in red locktite out but we did it and used grade 8 flange head bolts slathered in blue locktite and regular lockwashers this time. So far, so good.

You should be fine. Same setup I put on my '06 when the stock bolts stretched and it started approaching S2 sidestand-lean angles. I put in Grade 8s with loctite, and even switched to an XT stand (with the OEM bracket). No problems yet, and with that huge XT foot, I don't sink in the mud anymore : )
