You know, somebody Up There either really likes me, or really wants to screw with me.
Last year, Terri and I had considered getting imprinted tire gauges and handing them out at Homecoming, but it would have cost us over $500.00; so we decided to do the T-shirts, instead. By the time we finished with the T-shirt debacle, we discovered that we had spent almost that much anyway.
This year, we had decided to just go ahead and spend the money. We were going to get Syracuse pencil gauges, as they are accurate, easy to carry and they're made in the USA. All we were waiting on was for the factory to announce the Homecoming dates.
The good news is that we hadn't placed the order yet. The bad news is now I have to wrack my brain to come up with a different Idea.
Life is full of challenges.

Personally, I always like to have a little LED-light keychain. You know, squeeze on, find the ignition lock, or the nail in the tire, or....whatever.

Just make sure to get one that has a battery cover. I used to work for a lighting company (stage/concert lighting) and they had 'em, but they were little gel bubbles with no access to the battery. Battery dies, toss it out. I've got one on my jeep keys now from Brookstone, got a 4-screw battery door so I can keep it forever...or, until I lose it lol.

Crusty, maybe you should make some doo-hickies.

I have appreciated your creativity and generosity with the homecoming gifts...as I have benefited from them the last two years. But don't let it pressure you to feel like you need to out do the year before...because that will just end up with you giving Buell embossed bars of gold to everyone!
