I scored an inexpensive Drummer for my Uly off ebay and have been running it for a while. I love the sound, but my new helmet seems to magnify the drone. It's an earlier version, with the rolled chrome tip...has anyone ever put a universal baffle in the outlet to quiet them down just a bit? |

Red Chili put a supertrapp outlet on a muffler and it worked for him. You might PM him or search his thread for more info. |

Petebueller discussed a baffle for a Drummer in this thread. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/423235.html |

The SuperTrapp really wouldn't work for the Drummer without doing violence to it. I built my muffler out of a FleaBay stocker, gutted. Made a rear bulkhead, angled some tube out the back, did a weld-on SuperTrapp, and life is wunnerful. Tunable too. Boosted the upper mid and top end with no loss down low, by the gluteus dyno at least (when fuel map is logged to perfection that is). And not too loud either. Nice tone. Somebody is gonna take this design and run with it methinks, especially for the models not easily tunable (you can just fiddle with the number of disks until its happy). |

My wife's XB9S with the Drummer sounds nice, but it doesn't take long to get annoying when motoring down the road. |

There are some crappy ones posted here, should come up on a search on SuperTrapp. |

"ear plugs" It's hard to get everyone else to wear earplugs, just so you can ride a noisy motorcycle. |
