When I leave work at 4 am, it will be in the mid 40s. Coldest ride home in a while -- but I'll take it.

Grip heaters will be ON.

Freaking 80's here all week with more on the way. I don't wish for snow and ice and I admire those of you who put up with it, but a little bit of winter here would be appreciated. We really need some rain.

28F this morning in south Georgia when I fired up the Uly. 100 miles putt'n around the countryside. Warmed quickly to mid-50's by afternoon.

Eric, Maybe a fly-n-ride program for our friends up north? Perma-grin for everyone the whole year long!

It's brutal here, 55 right now (8:30pm). It was a cold bitter ride home from work tonight! Actually had to zip my 'stich' up all the way. It's another tough winter in the Bay area.

I feel your pain man, it is a brutally cold 62 here on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Ah yes, Fullerton CA - that lovely constriction east of LA where all the pukey air produced between Santa Monica and Pasadena packs in as it funnels it's way to Riverside. I don't envy you, even as I awake to a 12 degree morning.

Well, I am happy to say we have lived through the -38 degree weather here in Fargo, ND and have had a full shift to a high of 38 degrees this past Saturday!

Mind you, that is a full -38 without counting that windchill crap. Windchill at -38 is the stuff that makes your eyes freeze in your head! Nobody giggles when I wear goggles to the grocery store!

I think the body takes more of a beating with the severe shifts than the actual temp!

All of us pushing snowmobile throttles during this lack of Buell attention are actually thinking they are on their bikes!

I think it just makes me appreciate each season that much more!

I updated my blog the last few weeks with our non-buell throttle mashing! I many times take a quick phone-cam pic of the thermometer in the rearview mirror!

Keep the rubber down if on bike or sled!

Currently 15 degrees and climbing!!

We seen -60 (somewhat close) and 75mph gust of winds where I live. Rapid City, SD. It was pure hell I can tell you that much.

Finally feels like we've gotten through the worst of it here in southern Minnesota,I scaped the ice off my driveway sat. so I could get my Uly out to the road and went for a short ride on sunday, had to turn around because of thick ice patches.

Gonna hit mid-60's here this weekend and sunny (slight chance of rain on Sunday).

Guess what I'll be doing? : )
