Do they come with armor? I wouldn't operate that snow-removal machine without some sort of titanium-fiber armor pads on the knuckles.

That's great and I agree.

I have a set of those worthless gloves. There bulky without being warm. It was about 33F this morning when I rode in. Even with a set of thin inner gloves my hands were frozen after a 25 min ride to work.

+1 ...they're the best-made 'worthless' gloves I own.
