The wife flew out to see her sister in Cape Cod over Thanksgiving and came home early (Thanksgiving Day) sicker than a dog. She went back to work, but shortly thereafter, got even sicker.

Long story short, she had developed pneumonia and spent 19 days in the hospital w/ complications - 5 of which, in ICU.

I just brought her home yesterday.

Man, bringing my girl home, was the best Christmas present, ever! ...I can't seem to wipe this grin off of my face.

Merry Christmas, y'all

John

I thought it was a bad cold a couple of years ago, but finally it was both lungs full of liquid! Double pneumonia! I was never so sick in all my life. Thank God for antibiotics, the next day stated to feel better. This is a serious maladie that lots of people still die from, I am glad your wife is better and tell her I feel for her! Merry Christmas to you both

Glad to hear she's recovering. I wouldn't be able to live without Mrs. Greg.

Many of us are very thankful this season...

Merry Christmas to all!

Very well said. The health of our loved ones is more valuable than any bike or possession I can think of. It really puts everything into perspective to read a story like this. I know you can't stop smiling because it brings a cheer to my heart just reading your story. Merry Christmas to you and your love ones.

Thanks for sharing.

Great news Johnboy!

As Dr_Greg knows (or at least will soon know)...it is possible to replace a great Uly, but a great wife is not so easy to replace. God bless you both!
