I am looking for the thread that contains pics and owner info on a XB12X in Orange.
The bike has orange wheels, bag inserts, tail etc... all color matched.
One of my friends wants to powdercoat his wheels and is having a hard time finding the color.
I don't remember where I saw it.
Any guidance would be great.
THANK YOU

PM Etennuly. I believe you are looking for his ride.

Were there a couple of subtle red stripes?

Thanks guys.

I responded to Ron's PM this morning. I forgot to tell him one thing.....these wheels are now a bit%& to keep clean! I really loved the thought that went into the original colors. They were a perfect match for road dirt and brake dust....and I screwed it up!

I really like the look when it is clean. The painted surface is easier to clean than the powder coat was, however riding a couple hundred miles in dry weather will at least require a wipe down now.....damnit!.................................................. .................................................. ............................... Not that I'm lazy or anything!

make sure you wax those wheels real good, and they'll clean up easier, most people don't think about waxing their wheels. saves lots of time!
