Well it seems as though today was the day for me to go nuts and spend way too much money on the Uly I don't even have yet. I ordered the skidplate, front plate, oil filter cover, and jiffy stand foot from Touratech. I ordered the 4" HID Fuego lights from Baha Designes. To top it all off I ordered the Hepco & Becker "Aluminum Exclusive" bags in 40 litre for the right and left boxes and 45 litre for the top box. My wallet is still smoking. | ||

I have paid for all this stuff up front. I cut up my credit card a while back, now I use a debit card. As for the "faster" black. Not that I would've bought it anyway, but, because the black ones were so slow they stopped making them. It's the tough guy super fast orange for me ! Does anyone know if a 2008 jiffy stand will bolt up to an 09 ? | ||

I wasn't gonna buy that stupid jiffy stand foot because I figured I could just weld a plate on it. Then I figured I might be glad that it is removable and went for it. Anyone want to trade their sorry whimpy slow 2008 jiffy stand for the much better, stronger, and faster 09 model ? | ||

TourA Tech kick stand doesn't work on Pro Series Buell race pipe installed bikes either, unless you like a little rattle with your ride. Foot is too big and Pro Series is shorter so the left output pipe interferes with pad. ~jammer | ||

The 08 XT has the big foot stand, while the 08 X has the small foot stand.  | ||

Does anybody know why they changed it to the much better, faster, stronger, and cooler one for 09 ? Does anybody want to get rid of their $hitty 08 unit or do I just order one from the dealer ? |
