Will any other Rear Inner Fenders (from other XB models) bolt up to our Uly?

Since mine never goes off-road anymore, I was thinking it might look better with a smaller unit...thanks

I have been wondering the same thing. Never bothered to actually try it. Trojan has some aftermarket smaller fenders that fit.

Yeah, Froggy, saw those, they're beautiful, but they're 300 bucks

Get this - our stock Uly inner fender retails for $19.00

I should just get my Dremel out.

Thats some kind of freaky overlay with a 12SCG up front and a 12S in the back!

Or they are parked next to each other....

Either way, there are 3 stock fenders, the one on the XB12X,XT,SS,STT, then one on the 03-05 XB, then a different one on the 06 Later XBs not listed above.

Looks like the XB12Scg is the inner fender I want, then. The top photo is an 12Scg as well, and the '08/'09 12SS models have fenders just like the Uly.

I'll stop at the Harley dealer on Friday and get a part number.

I imagine all the swing arms are the same, amongst the various models....right?

the SS, STT and Uly use the longer swingarm. that's why their fenders have a different p/n. they may or may not work on the short swingarms. someone will have to try it.

"Anymore"? What's up with that? No interest in off-road stuff? I think it'll look good, but...

I retired from the off roading too. I used to do it all the time on my Uly, and I did it for a bit on my SS, but now my bike is too pretty and is missing a few stone guards. Lost 1 belt, don't need to loose another! : )

Does this mean the loss of the super-comfy passenger seat too? Ladies around the world are sighing...

Here's the trim lines that I came up with for the inner fender after several attempts - I scaled it up from this drawing, used masking tape to mark the cut lines. I just need to get out the Dremel tomorrow and cut away.

I'll post pics after I get it finished.

Here's another version, which matches the curve of the stone guard a little better.

Nice, so rather than just use photoshop, you printed out a wallpaper from Buell.com of the lightning long (you need to clean your print heads), doodled on it, scanned it, and then cropped it and uploaded it to photobucket to post here : )

Good luck, I might just cut mine up too now that they are dirt cheap.

LOL ... I think you missed a step (where I spilled my Fresca all over it), but yeah.
