I want to stock up on some parts for doing routine maintenance on the XT. What parts do you recommend and do you have part numbers for them? Parts and service manual are about to be ordered so i was thinking more of the gaskets and o-rings I may need for oil changes and primary changes. Thank you in advance.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Was hoping to avoid sitting at the parts counter looking them up but I will have to do that tomorrow.

I never bothered to look for the part numbers for the stuff. I have always just gone to the dealer, said I need an oil filter, the gaskets for the windows in the primary, and a few drain plug o rings. The guy comes back out with them a minute later.

I am looking for an old receipt with the numbers for you.

That was my plan and I have a great dealer here just thought it may be easier. With Appleton's 20% off sale this week I was going to stock up for a few oil changes worth. Thank you Froggy

11105 O-RING (both drains)
606328-98A DRAIN PLUG KIT w/ 11105 (nice to have a spare, cheap too.)

Wheel bearings

Ha ha! Maybe a set in a drawer IS a good idea! I don't know about routine maintenance though, other than periodic seal removal and greasing.

P0213.02A8 FILTER ELEMENT (air filter)
TYPE E FORK OIL (3 bottles is plenty)

Fork spring compressor, American Sport Bike sells a good one by Race Tech. Fork oil leveler and fork seal driver make the job painless. Lots of guys shy away from the fork service but believe me it's not difficult when you bite the bullet for the tools and you'll make sure it's done right.

Spark plugs are bike specific.

Invest in the parts catalog, well worth it.
