When I tag the brakes hard I hear a loud click coming from the front forks. When I let go of the brake it clicks again. You can even feel it in the handlebars. What could cause something like that!!

Here's a guess, front calliper mount, floating disc or steering head bearings requiring re-torquing

The clicking I had was coming from the steering head bearings.

Might also check the front engine mount.

Had exactly the same on my 06 after about 15k miles. Head bearings replaced under warranty.

Thanks for the replies guys. I posted as mostly a joke as I'm pretty sure all the wheelies have "worn in" the steering head bearings. I had the same problem on my old BMW K100RS. Good to hear your in agreement! As long as the weather holds out it won't stop me from riding but at some point this Winter I'll replace them. Hmmmm, maybe I'll add the 08 triple trees and the 07 springs at the same time!
I've got to stop reading Treadmarks Threads!

My clicking was coming from some loose connectors under the fly screen. Put on a few zip ties and the noise went away. It's worth a shot.
