Original set for 2006 Ulysses.

I bought a set used. It came with the three hard bags, two side brackets, and top bracket. No instructions or hardware.

Anyone direct me to the hardware needed and instructions for installation?

All the pieces of hardware are listed there. If you wanted, you could get them from the dealer, but it will cost over $50.

I got mine from a hardware store for $1.07

Just make sure you get hardened bolts and use Loctite!

You may also find that you have trouble mounting the right side bracket, it can be a bear. And then the right passenger peg may rub the side case.

The trick, which was how I found BadWeB , is to remove the right foot pegs bracket, loosely get ALL the brackets and bolts started (don't forget the Loctite), then reattach the footpegs bracket and rotate around tightening things up.

You may still find the right passenger peg rubs on deployment, but sometimes it doesn't so first things first.

One of the issues is that the tail section will sag over time, so when you go to install it the bolts for the passenger pegs don't line up. My trick was undo the 4 bolts holding the tail section to the frame, just unscrew them enough that the tail section can move, then put the brackets on. You will have to hold up the tail a little to get it to line up, but once you do, your golden : )

Ah Froggy, you're the guy who posted that, I forgot. By tail section you mean the two beams that bolt to the main frame assembly?

Or do you mean the very rear section that bolts to the beams?

Ok I got to use my SS for this pic, as I don't have one of the Uly, but the bolts are in the same spot:

Thanks Froggy, I didn't think there was much movement possible there but I'll give it a shot. The HD tech who replaced my fuel pump apparently did it by the book and didn't realign that footpeg bracket so my passenger peg rubs again. I'll try that method.
