I don't have any questions or need any help, I just feel like spouting about how much I love my bike, and figured you guys would understand.
I've had it since June. I really wanted a CityX when my Blast got totalled, but could not find one. almost went with a Lightning, but my daughter liked the Uly better so went with it. Until this week I thought maybe I should have gotten the Lightning, with the lower seat and lighter weight. I finally got to get it out where it belongs, on the logging roads. I had an amazing ride with FastMag, and a guy with a brand new GS800. This thing truly is amazing. I had only ridden little trail bikes before. I was expecting to be standing up the whole time in the rough stuff. That suspension and seat soaked up everything and it was downright comfortable. Watching FastMag riding next to the BMW I was taken by how huge the Uly's rear tire really is. After the dirt ran out we started flogging some corners and hills, and everything else that makes mountain roads so much fun. I was taken by how in a few hours and 120 miles we went from crawling through the mud, to beautiful twisties, to high speed runs and sweeping corners, all on the same bikes. They excelled at it too.
I have decided I'm glad I didn't get a Lightning. This bike does it all.

Yo Spice...

Your profile photo is hilarious...nice find. You've also got a fantastic bike (even though it's not the faster black model...har har...). After I got my Uly, I started paying attention to other Buells, like the Lightning Long. Now I keep coming back to the looks of the 1125CR...

Dont disparage the lil CityX too much, She does just fine in the mud, dirt, and gravel. The extra ground clearance would be nice, but she seems to muddle through well enough.

I don't disparage the cityX, I still think that is an amazing bike. I just don't regret getting the uly now.
