Just want to document my experience with my 08 Uly. Yesterday I turned over 10K miles on a little excursion up Mt. Herman road here in front range of the Rockies (until it became snow packed). In the past 11 months besides normal service, including one rear and front tire, the only issue was a broken clutch cable retainer. My fuel economy continues to improve with the past two outings into the mountains at 49, 53 mpg. I do use it to commute and have spent a lot of miles 2 up touring.

My overall impression, one outstanding motorcycle. Yes, there are some heat issues, but nothing that we haven't been able to live with thanks to the help of some tinfoil. The handling has been the most impressive element, wow can it eat up the canyon roads. I love the ability to get off of the pavement and see some sites. So for anyone who is contemplating the purchase of a Uly I highly recommend the bike.

I've got 5 months and 7600 miles on mine. Unfortunately mine has not been completely trouble free but in spite of that there is no other ride like it.
