I have read on ADVrider how to put baja lights on the uly, but it's beyond my skill level. I think they refer to the finished product as the "Death Ray" which I think is hilarious. Apparently you can feel heat 10 ft away (every man's dream!) Can anyone who actually has HID on their Uly please tell the rest of us in simple terms how they went about making it happen? And is it true that you can feel heat 10 ft away? | ||

I'm waiting for my HIDs to get here still. They are an easy install. In terms of heat, they run much cooler that Halogens however you will be blinded at 10ft away.  | ||

Here is a basic wiring diagram I drew up in anticipation of wiring a few new items on the Uly, the big one being HID's. Its not a how to manual but if you are ok with wiring this should help a little. If not your best bet would be to have a adept buddy help you, its actually quite easy but can be confusing if you have not done it before. I listed the wiring guages I plan on using, they are only big because of the air horn I would like to install. Supposedly they pull like 15 amps so...  |
