George!

Welcome back Brother.

Thanks Terry,

I'm sticking around til they kick me out
, I will almost certainly pick up another Uly used some day.

As for future ulys, I will add that I would like to see bosses on the swing arm to accept spools for a race stand.

It's a nice option for a quick lift, even if only to clean the wheel or check the belt.

I added the sliders with lift ring but that is wide.
Built in bosses would be nice.

you forgot the ZTL2 front brakes

Also, regarding the XB1125STT, no tail luggage rack without a side bag system. Tail section is not rigid enough for the type of loading two people and a luggage rack can give.

OH MY GOD!!

I just soiled my pants in glee!!

THIS is the bike Buell needs to build NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!!!

Yes, the Uly needs more power!
Yes, the Uly needs liquid cooling!

No, no jerry can mount needed. Here, in Tennessee, we're real sophisticated. We have really cool things all over the place that dispense fuel. They look like this. Even take a credit card.

Besides, after riding the extreme twisties and breakneck speed for about 50 miles, I'm ready for a break, if I need fuel or not.

Give me the ZTL2 brake so when I'm riding Hwy 85 going downhill into 180 degree hairpin switchbacks my brake doesn't overheat and fade.

Give me another 50hp so I can pass that gaggle of slow moving vehicles without fear of hitting the rev limiter right about the time I see a car coming.

Give me liquid cooling so my engine runs at a more consistent temp and I no longer have to worry about it knocking and pinging when it gets hot after idling in traffic for a few minutes.

This is my dream of a "real world" sport bike that a person 6'5" tall weighing 200lbs can actually ride all day.

PLEASE BUELL...BUILD IT!

For those of you who want an air cooled Ulysses, there will be plenty of used ones available when this model comes out. I know MINE will be for sale.

Buell would need to make two bikes. A more street oriented water cooled blaster for Chad and a more off road version using the old engine with different cams to lower the peak torque rpm and a six speed with a lower first gear and wheels that will except a more off road tire. They could keep the dirt oriented one as the XB12X and the new one would be the XB11XS.
All would have the Tall seat available!!
