I mounted two, one on each side, mounted to the inside of the bag frame. I just about hung all 205 pounds of myself off the passenger grab handles and the rear tire never came close to the tubes. You should be fine mounting it there.

I'll take pictures later today when I'm working on the other bike, and try again to post them this afternoon.

That's good to know Sean...I figured it was a typo when you wrote:

...the rear tire does come close to hitting the tube (even with my 210 pounds hanging off the passenger handles.)

Wouldn't "toll" tubes be cool too? Who cares if you pay $3 with quarters? It's still currency right?

Tipsy - Yeah, that must have been a typo, oops!

Court - I got them from the link that Tipsy posted. I bought four tubes (two for the Uly, two for the KLX) and with shipping it was $29.46. It took three days for them to get to me.

I mentioned in the other thread, but I will re-mention here, two things:

1) Brake cleaner gets the yellow labeling off.
2) A little Goop (commercial name for a silicone type glue) fills the hole near the top.

I used hose clamps from the hardware store to attach them to the luggage frame.

Altogether, I added some decent storage to the bike for less than $50, including buying brake cleaner and the hardware to attach them.
