Is it ok to run your uly with out a muffler, I saw a guy on YouTube running his bike without A muffler, the only reason people really upgrade there muffler to a drummer or d&d is to get better sound even though it doesn't do much for the performance, wouldn't takeing the muffler off do the same thing just cheaper?

If you value your hearing you won't do it!
Also you run the risk of burning valves.
The engine needs a certain amount of backpressure to run right.

If you remove the muffler and do nothing to secure the free end of the pipes. They might break off from vibration.

No! - If for no other reason than you will sound like half the brainless HD riders with dew rags and chaps that parade up and down the street.

Ya I 'm bitter.

I swear the service manual says fire it up after you remove the old pipe before you put on the new one ; )

Well that settles the age old argument!

I won't worry about burning a valve, an overly lean condition, loss of torque, loss of horsepower or flanges cracking.

If you really feel the need to run open pipes, at least learn how to make them work by reading this

""please, for the sake of responsible motorcycling, don't do it.""

'Responsible Motorcycling' is an oxymoron, and overrated at that .... just do it, take videos, and come back and tell us all about it!

If you have any doubts, just ask yourself, 'what would this guy do'?

I love how it's obviously a leather riding garment of some type, but it has french cuffs and cufflinks.

Vanson doesn't seem to offer that as a closure option on their website.

Haven't you ever heard of "double clutching"? LOL. The extra lever is the rear brake lever, for when you stand on the seat on the rear wheel. or to "trim" the front end down when you are in the air.
