Well, I Finally broke down and sold my XR650L and went to the ULY. I've had her for around three weeks now and have abit over 800 miles. I live(and play in Alaska), and have taken my bike up, over, and through almost everything my 650L did. Dumped her twice(no damage)due to a (lack of a better word) front tire. That has been my only limiting factor for a few rides. Anyone know if any company's are going to make more aggressive tires for the ULY's? But long sort, short I love the choice I made! |

The MT 60s are nice and chunky, I will be using a set of the Rain Super Moto tires next. I will get pics when they are mounted up. Its mud hunting season. |

MT 60's will clog but are prob the best fitting option. a rear TKC 80 on the front 130/17 ? No twisties and no rain!! |

A bridgestone M22 rear comes in 120 ... http://www.bikebandit.com/product/3376 Hmmmmm.... and kenda K257D http://www.bikebandit.com/product/3652 Wouldn't use them for extended trips on the street, but it would be easy to lace up a new 17 inch rim or pick up another for the front for quick changes... would help a lot offroad for grip, but she's still a pig |
