This hops a couple of sections. Will the new CR rear pulley mount up to the ULY? Ie are the teeth count, belt length compatible. Inquiring minds want to know. Sidebar, will they work on a City-X that wants to be a ULY as well? |

I'm wondering if the front headlight will fit in some way. It matches a ULY beak perfectly. The pulley idea would be sweet. "Easy" gear swapping!! It should bolt up it is a XB rim mounted backwards. Like you said the Belt is going to be the kink in the idea. If it was possible I figure Al at american sportbike would know this already. The SS long guys would be all over this setup. |

Slicker, you work at a dealer! Take the CR off the floor, roll it into service and find out the hard way |

Sprocket Teeth: 2009 Buell 1125 Models DRIVE ITEM NUMBER OF TEETH 1125CR Final Transmission 27 Rear wheel 76 Belt 145 , 149 Sprocket Teeth: 2006 Ulysses XB12X DRIVE ITEM NUMBER OF TEETH Final Transmission 27 Rear wheel 65 Belt 135 with a little math provided by an excel sheet. The stock ULY gearing at 3500 RPM is 72MPH with a 76 rear would be 62MPH. compared that to the primary swap ULY with primary at 3500 rpm is 65 MPH. Max out the 9 primary with a 76 rear sprocket would be 56 MPH at 3500 RPM. Time to take the uly rock crawling. If the rear CR sprocket and belt works there would be so many options!!!! |

Froggy, I have been there 5 years, they wont let me meddle with the bikes. the frankenstein creation I did with my CityX was at my own time&dime. At pretty much ever part and installation they said "nope, cant be done...." Just because nobody had before. They certainly wont let me put a 1125CR up on the lift... Just to see. |
