By the way . . so do Abe and a handful of folks who, eschewing "factory bikes" have BOUGHT their own.

The Ulysses was THE bike that coaxed Abe off his beloved Ducati Monster.

I, now that I am riding one, can clearly see why.

The Ulysses is a most impressive motorcycle and multi-role Urban Assault Vehicle.

Gumshoe, my dimensions are just like yours. I put my leg in front of me and over. Same thing off the bike. My legs are too long to get behind me.. I keep hitting the cases.

I recently bought a KTM 950 Super Enduro for my more dirt oriented riding.

Get on an 950SE a few times, and after that, the Uly is VERY EASY to mount up.

6'2", 235#, and 53 years old.
