Has anyone installed an adjustable clutch lever on their Ulysses?

If so, what have you installed and what year is your Ulysses?

I find the throw a touch long due to my hand size. (No jokes about hand size!) So I'm thinking about installing an adjustable lever to hopefully help this out. An example would be the CRG Roll-a-Click lever: http://www.constructorsrg.com/levers/index.html#

Maybe this product won't help my issue but thanks in advance for any info/advice.

XB Series '02-current AN-621 AN-531 --from their website.

I put a pair on when I brought my '07 home. The dealer had all colors and both lengths in stock.

I like my brake lever pretty far away from the bar (years of road racing with brakes nowhere near as good as what comes stock now !), and the clutch nearer the middle position, both shorty levers in the "gray" titanium color.

The lever positioning feature should help you out with your situation,

with your hand size, anyways.

I haven't changed levers on my Uly yet, but have the CRG stubbies on my S1W and love 'em. Support an awesome sponsor - check out www.americansportbike.com : )

I bought the Pazzos from the vendor on ebay, They are high quality and get shipped fast. I went with both levers.

Thanks everyone. Still trying to decided (1) what lever(s) to get and (2) if it's something I want to install myself.

Can't think of anything much easier to install than levers, do it yourself.

818guy - Put the CRG's on clutch side (since the brake side is already adjustable)last year. Does allow adjustment that provides some relief for my hand position. Easy to install - less than 15 min -including loctite on the screws. j

Thanks. I've been reading about making an "adjustment" at the clutch basket when you do this change.

Is this true?

The adjustment at the basket is the FIRST place any adjustments should be made; just follow the service manual directions.

However, you shouldn't need to make that adjustment if you are not comfortable/familiar with it. You should be able to get enough play in the clutch cable to remove the lever by loosening up the adjuster near the front header, then reset your lever play the same way.

It would be a good idea to learn the adjustment at the clutch sometime though.
