Author Message   818guy Posted on Friday, September 26, 2008 - 06:47 pm:        Has anyone installed an adjustable clutch lever on their Ulysses? If so, what have you installed and what year is your Ulysses? I find the throw a touch long due to my hand size. (No jokes about hand size!) So I'm thinking about installing an adjustable lever to hopefully help this out. An example would be the CRG Roll-a-Click lever: http://www.constructorsrg.com/levers/index.html# Maybe this product won't help my issue but thanks in advance for any info/advice.   Florida_lime Posted on Friday, September 26, 2008 - 07:58 pm:        XB Series '02-current AN-621 AN-531 --from their website. I put a pair on when I brought my '07 home. The dealer had all colors and both lengths in stock. I like my brake lever pretty far away from the bar (years of road racing with brakes nowhere near as good as what comes stock now !), and the clutch nearer the middle position, both shorty levers in the "gray" titanium color. Does allow adjustment that provides some relief for my hand position. Is this true?   Florida_lime Posted on Monday, October 06, 2008 - 10:25 pm:        The adjustment at the basket is the FIRST place any adjustments should be made; just follow the service manual directions. However, you shouldn't need to make that adjustment if you are not comfortable/familiar with it. You should be able to get enough play in the clutch cable to remove the lever by loosening up the adjuster near the front header, then reset your lever play the same way.
