Well my Givi Hardbags and Fehling racks finally arrived after being on back ordered since the end of May. This is my SS Uly bastard and it is Dirty, So don't waste the bandwidth pointing it out.  | ||

Yep......Had the wrap on since about the middle of the first summer. I commute in heavy traffic and until I wrapped the exhaust I wondered if I had made a mistake on the bike. The wrap took care of it. Auto Zone even carrys the wrap now it is about 40 bucks. | ||

LOST, Those bags look like they sit further back or are smaller than the Journey Bags that come with the X/XT. Are they? I know my rear pegs come within 1/2 inch of touching the bags when in the up position. | ||

LOST- Love it ... I have the Fehling rack also... which top case did you go with... well actually which side cases too... I will more than likely move that way down the road... ..??? Thanks for the tape info... you are the first person I have seen that admits to actual benefit and esspecially on a Buell ... may have to do it to the Uly.... Cheers-pete | ||

I thought the entire Uly luggage system was too ponderous and didn't like it..... Beside who wants to be one of the crowd. The side cases are smaller, Plus Going with Givi and Fehling was less than half the price of the OEM cases, so I can buy multiple case sizes for the same money. I am hoping for some e41's for xmas. The side bags are E21, and the top is a E470. The exhaust wrap is one of the great debates here. I like it, I use it, I am satisfied with the results. YMMV. | ||

The picture doesn't show it but it is pretty grubby at the moment. Not mud like the West Coast king of Slime, but urban grunge and grime. I was gonna wash it tonight but just didn't get around to it, wii boxing with the son, and he is starting to beat me. Yes, I am a RSS, Wrap, believer. OH SAVE ME, naw. It is one I got from Trojan and I think it is made of platinum or something else every expensive. That is why I love these bikes everyone is different and no body leaves them stock. The best part of homecoming is browsing the parking lot. Thx for the compliments, I like it. | ||
