So I am looking at adding some aux lights to my Uly and now my "mini Uly"-the City X. I really haven't paid a lot of attention to what everyone uses so I figured I would ask. The cheaper the better-but of course quality trumps cost (to an extent)! |

Gary GME light bar, there is another thread going on about it. $30, and it rocks |

I ordered a GME this week. I'm installing my first "condition 1" lights today. |

I made my own. I used some aluminum stock that was lying around my garage. It was originally the frame for a tonneau cover. The mfg sent me the wrong frame rails and I put it to good use. So far it was worked amazingly well. It holds up a set of PIAA 510's and has seen enough off road to let me know that it works and will not break. Took me 30 minutes to make it. I cut it to my specified length, drilled four holes, rounded the edges and installed. I did use an old mouse pad between the triple tree and the mount to help quell some vibrations.

I've seen a lot of references to the GME light bar, and I agree, it's the cleanest set-up I've seen out there. Maybe I just haven't been looking at the right thread, but what I haven't seen is information on how to get one. Can one of you kind folks post the contact information or a web link to the manufacturer? Thanks. A- |

I had the same problem and had to find a used one. One thing to remember is that the GME lightbar has it's holes for the lights facing forward. Some lights will not pivot enough to bolt up without a 90 degree adapter. |
