I recently sprung for one of these and the wire loom to make things easy but now I have them I'm a bit daunted about the fitting being about as mechanically minded as an orange I wonder if someone can take me through the fitting or point me in the direction of a step by step guide. I did a search and found a pictorial one but no actual description. Thanks in advance.

Dick,

If you want use this project to learn another skill, these links should be enough. This is really a good project to get your feet wet in wiring accessories. If they're not, maybe you should hire it out.

One thing I would be sure to do is run a separate line of 10 or 12 ga. wire directly from the battery to under the flyscreen - that way if you decide, at a later date, to add on, you can just add a fuse block for more lights, GPS, heated gear, etc.
