Added some visual enhancements to both of my rides today.

The Uly got the reflective wheel stripes. Bought them trying to decide if I really liked red wheel stripes and I do. May get them pinstriped in this winter. Let me know if you want to know where I got them. They look ok but thats not there fault installer error or lack of ability. Looks good from 5ft away though. The decal on the truck I have an extra in a gray color. Wasn't sure which color I wanted so I ordered 2. 6.5"x11" and it does have the American Motorcycles under it. Anybody want it? I paid $14 for it so $10 and its yours or trade for an interesting Buell piece maybe. Let me know.

Also my 08 came with a pigtail for a battery tender installed on it. I thought it was a fused lead for the heated handgrips but I pulled on it and the end came up. Its capped off and everything. Anybody else have this? Don't recall it listed anywhere

BYW - Red rims look great. But this is the first I've heard of a Uly arriving prewired for any accessory. But what do I know...?

There is a fused pigtail on my battery that has an end on it like a battery tenders SAE connector. At least thats what I think the connector is called. I will try to get a picture. It's approx 12" long.

Here it is pulled out and the plug open. I got the bike with 20mi on it so I know it wasn't used. Looks factory to me and the dealer didn't do it.

I have that too. It's a pigtail for a battery tender. I think most heater clothes will plug in as well

Depending on where you got the bike, it could have been added during the PDI. We do it on all our new bikes, as part of the setup. And yes, it is a battery tender lead.

What shade of gray is the decal? Been looking for something for our Mineral Gray Ram 2500, since I'll probably have to drive instead of ride to work for a while, while I finish healing...

They called it light gray about the same color as the darker background of these posts actually. Just a tad lighter. Wish I had some way to take a pic but I don't without ruining the decal

Eviltwn- I got it on Ebay actually but I have seen them at some car shows in the vinyl booth. If you want I can PM you a link to the auction.

Yooper- Must have been that then. Glad they did cause now I have an extra pigtail for the snowblower.

Do not plug your heated gear into that battery tender port. They are different Amps, you will blow fuses. The heated gear should come with its own adapter. Your bike can handle running both attached to the battery. You never really use the batter tender one while riding because it is plugged in at home ; )

Wifes heated vest goes into the 12v socket under there and thats all we have for heated gear. Just plan on using it for over winter charging

Svh, are your wheels the stock color or did you change to black? That pinstripe looks sweet, where did you get them? Do they have different colors?

XT wheels come black from the factory.
I wish my black X had black wheels, but Xs are all that bronze color. Quick visual reference for the "tougher" wheel.

Ah!! I see. I guess I should have known that. I agree, I wish I had the black ones as I don't ride off road much at all.
