I have a 08ulysses in blue and I'm looking to change the color to black, I found a black xb airbox cover that came off a lightning, are all xb airbox covers the same, and can the airbox cover off a lightning fit on a ulysses model, and if anyone has a black airbox cover they want to sell or trade for a blue one please let me know, thanx

All XB's are the same airbox, sort of, the later years have vents near the gas cap.

Get an 06 and newer and it will fit.

Along those lines, I saw an air box from, if I recall correctly, an 1125. Does that fit the Uly's too? Just curious....maybe there's a thread somewhere that identifies the interchangeable air boxes...?

Physically all of them will fit. The issue with the 1125 is that it doesn't have the vent up front just like the 2003-2005 air boxes. When you get it you will need to get a little crafty take the vent off your old cover.
