I have an 09 XB12X on order and rather than going with the luggage offerings from Buell, I've ordered it with a set of 41L Touratech ZEGA panniers. At some point I'd also like to add the ZEGA top case, but as of yet, Touratech doesn't make mounting hardware specifically for the Uly. My thoughts were to possibly add the Touratech luggage rack and attempt to fabricate a way to mount the top case to that. Has anyone out there attempted to do something like this? Or is there another beefy aluminum case out there that someone might recommend? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
