Can anyone tell me of a decent service dept in the Bay Area? I have been to 4 dealerships and they all SUCK SUCK and Suck some more, Peninsula where I purchased the bike setup was just plain ugly (Headlight pointing at the sky, bars rolled way forward and all suspension settings on hard, all they wanted was my cash and see ya that was an ugly 80 mile trip home, Maguires the tech took forever and didn't answer any questions and all he kept asking was how I liked my grips and informed me not to believe anything I read online (BadWeatherBikers) , Devil Mountain where it took three people, service manager, shop manager and tech ten minutes to figure out how to flip up the backrest (I saw them struggling and came to the rescue), and finally Livermoore where I've been six times over a month for a clutch cable and a windshield and I still don't have the damn windshield. Allthough they did give me a nice laugh the other day The service manager inspects the bikes before the techs receive them I was in the lounge and she approached me and told me that my turn signals weren't working (thats funny I thought I used them when I pulled into the lot just minutes earlier) I followed her outside and she switched my grip heaters on and off and said see the turn signals don't work.... Oh and then when the tech finished installing my new cable and gave the bike back he forgot to install the hand guard I asked the manager if the tech would install the hand guard and her and her assistant looked at at me lost and asked what a hand guard was I had to get the tech he forgot it on his bench.
My lord are there any competent service depts in the Bay area ? I commute all over so I don't care how far I have to go. any help would be greatly appreciated

Not sure since I live in Wa but, my brother talked with Vallejo B/HD who had a (Bob Martinez?) Uly owner that was also a mechanic there. Might give them a call and see if he's still employed

Fremont Cycle Center. They have 3 Buell tech's and absolutely treat you well regardless of ride.

Explain to them that you are unhappy with the dealers near your house and want to build a relationship with a dealership that treats Buell riders well. Chris in sales is a stand up guy.

+1 on Fremont. Made the switch from another east bat dealership when they fired the only guy that cared about Buells. Happy with treatment and service.

About 35 miles north of SF in Marin County, in the town of Novato is Golden Gate HD/Buell.

They are pretty Buell friendly. The service guys like Buells and the parts guys like Buells.

They have another, bigger shop in Corte Madera which is closer to you but it is much more HD driven so don't bother going there unless you want to buy a Buell.

I had to edit because I wrote south instead of north. That was a rather big brain fart. The shop of which I speak is north of SF.

Fremont cycle center gets my vote as well. The whole team are Buell enthusiasts. They changed their name to Faultline.

There is Santa Cruz HD and they are OK. They have another small dealership "Green Valley" in Watsonville and their head tech rides an old tuber and treats Bullers well.

I bought mine at Fresno HD on Shaw in Fresno. have only had a 5000 service with a TPS reset, however the whole purchase experience was great and the service work was good. They have a Buell certified tech and he is knowledgeable.
Also I believe that there are a couple of BA clubs that use them because of there service.
