Just wondering why the Uly Forum (Big, Bad & Dirty) isn't categorized in a more orderly fashion like the Thumper Forum? It would make it much easier to find info.

We ride Buells, we don't like anything easy, or to be like anyone else!

I often hear people criticize this forum format compared to some of the other forums out there.
I actually find this forum one of the easiest to navigate.

So ....

Well, after all, Buells are "Different in Every Sense". We ride Buells because we don't want to just follow everyone else.

I often hear people criticize this forum format compared to some of the other forums out there.

Mainly because people always rant about using "Search" rather than starting a new thread about a previously discussed topic. But previous threads here more or less disappear once archived.

As far as I can tell, with the BadWeb format, you'll only be made aware of a response to an archived BadWeb topic if you've previously subscribed to the thread.

With the VBulletin format (like BuelletinBoard), responding to a three year-old thread bumps it back to the top of the forum and gives it new life.

My vote is for the VBulletin format.

As far as I can tell, with the BadWeb format, you'll only be made aware of a response to an archived BadWeb topic if you've previously subscribed to the thread.

Or you can let a custodian know that you've responded to an old thread and we can move it to the present page. We try and catch these types of postings, but it's hard to read everything that is posted each day.

I have to agree with Froggy about the Thumper forum...I find it hard to figure my way around. I guess if I had a Thumper, I'd get used to it by necessity.
