I have the part numbers for the light kits, but they are emergency response only, and are sold in the kit for 2595.00

C1160.1AU RED/BLUE
C1161.1AU RED/RED
C1162.1AU BLUE/BLUE

Again these are kits for emergency response vehicles. They are LED marker lights, they are NOT off road lights.
I dont know if the kits can be parsed out as of yet. I am still waiting on our demo bike. Pics will be posted when it is here and ready for riding. (for qualified agencies and personnel)

Oh so your qualified? : )

The part numbers mention Siren too, so its the whole shebang, not just lights.

Apparently the clip from Animal House is rights protected...

If all you are looking for is the bracket, I think there are several options that are currently available, cheaper and already tested.

And as the resident Bueller, and the existing POLICE/FIRE rep, um yeah. Who else at the shop is gonna show these guys what the thing will do? The line starts at the left, open house for the bike will be in Sept, seven agencies attending.

Cityxslicker - I'm very interested in what your seven agencies think about the Uly Police Bike and what other bikes they are considering. Our agency is working on a grant for a Police Bike and the Buell, BMW and HD are in the running. Too bad we're on the other side of the US from you or you'd have eight agencies!

Our local dealer has told us to call back in 30 days to see if they have one in stock by then. I hate waiting!

It won't go through a local dealer. It will go through HD Law Enforcement Sales.

Look at the .pdf of law enforcement bikes and you'll find the Uly with detailed descriptions

I do police fleet and response vehicles (harleys) for escort, parade and pursuit vehicles. Its usually Road Kings and Electra Glides. The cop bikes are delivered with the truck and I show up on my Bueller. We go through the delivery and I goad them a bit with "too bad you dont have a bike this capable for your back woods areas..... yadda yadda yadda" Primin the pump ; ) After months of teasing, its now a reality and as far as I know we are the first to get them. Gotta Thank George back at E Troy for that. I will post pics and video as I get it.

I still think for off road lighting and brackets, there are cheaper civilian alternatives that are already available.

Me too. The mounts I made suck.
With all the folks on this site and their connections, it should be possible to convince the powers that be to break up the set and/ or offer the light mount alone as an aux light mounting system. It would sell like hotcakes if priced right.

Those Buell emergency light brackets are specifically made for the emergency lights and by the time you'd get done dinking around with them to make them work for aux lamps, you'd probably be better off starting from scratch or buying one of the ones already out there. The brackets as they come from Buell have no vertical adjustment only back and forth. You'd have to make some kind of adapter bracket for each side so that you could adjust up and down movement (kinda important for aux lamps, no?) and then you'd probably want to cut off all the extra tabs that are on those brackets for the emergency side flashers. Doesn't somebody on this site sell brackets for like $30 or something?

There is some truth to that. In addition, thanks to the fine folks at the United States Gov't, it's just not as easy as Buell saying . . ."it's cool, let's offer it for sale".

There are myriads of hurdles to be leapt before selling anything to the general public.

Seems to work great for the abuse I put it through.
