Does anyone of you have the Buell Adventure jacket / pants? Are they wind and water proof? How is the quality? Thanks for feedback. Ride safe Werner |

dont know about the pants, but the top is great, works well in the heat too, esp when you slide a geled ice pack in where the back protecter goes. In the washington rainy winter, this is my daily jacket. They work great. |

The jacket is great but I don't have the pants. It is NOT completely waterproof and leaks at the zippers but in all fairness it isn't claimed to be a rain jacket. The jacket material itself seems to be water resistant at least an is wind proof. I like mine. |

If you must have Buell brand than so be it. The gear is made by Joe Rocket and you can buy it under that brand name as well and save some $$$$$$$$. Like Ulykan said it is not waterproof. http://www.joerocket.com/productJR.cfm?products_id =189 there is some slight differences. I really like Joe Rocket, My experience has been very positive and it has been very durable, I would have no issue with purchasing again. |

I have the set and like them quite a bit. They are not rainproof, but they are very versatile - plenty of pockets and vents. The fabric is very water resistant, but it does leak through the zippers and vents. It is really flexible and comfortable too. In the fall it is common for the weather to be chilly in the morning and turn really warm in the afternoon. That is where this setup really shines. I used to wear a leather jacket with a sweater underneath and heavy overpants for the morning commute, then for the commute home just wear jeans and the (too heavy) jacket - having to stow all the rest of the morning gear somewhere on the bike (not such a problem with the Uly and it's bags). Now I just use the Adventure setup. It is warm in the morning, then flows a *lot* of air and is plenty cool in the afternoon. |

I just used them on my last long road trip. Excellent gear... water proof(?)... not quite but unless you are in a downpour, very acceptable. Highly recommended and very well made gear, also think the triple tail bag was great also. |

I wrecked in the adventure 2 piece last fall. It did its job, as my only scuffs where on my wrists cause of my short gloves, on my lower back where the jacket came up, and I broke my foot but that’s kind of un related Pics here: http://froggypwns.com/images/Bike%20wrecks/2007-10 -18/index.html |

I have been wearing the set for two years and love them. I carry a light weight set of rain gear for the rainy days. |

Wow, Froggy - those are some serious hits. I thought mine was bad. Do you have a thread talking about the situation? Any lessons learned? |

Yes i learned a lesson, be ready, cause the shit hits the fan when you least expect it. Must every thread up in this joint devolve into a rant about that dang fan? |
