I was thinking about it today on the road, it would be nice if there was videos on how to do common things with the bike. I know I’m a visual learner, and even if people say something about our bikes are easy, I get intimidated when it comes to doing it. For example something like a video how to properly adjust the clutch, showing you what to pull, what to twist and what to look for. Kind of like those Sunday morning car shows where they put a blower on a corvette in 30 minutes with commercials.

I got a video cam, I will try and make some videos like this, but with my limited mechanical skill I will be limited to what things I will be filming.

I think thats a great idea.
There is a guy from CA-cycleworks.com, named Chris Kelly, that makes very good instructional videos for Ducati's. He even makes Desmodromic valve adjusts seem easy enough to do at home.
you can see his stuff on Youtube. Ya might get some pointers for your videos

Ahhh, the greatest mover if BadWeB were to open an online store.

"How To" DVD's.

Simple routine stuff. Would sell like crazy.

Maybe they could throw in a sticker too.

Good idea Froggy. I'd like to see a CDROM showing everything from changing fork oil, to changing tires, ect. Specifically for the ULY. But if you plan on making a profit you'll have to give your left nut to BadWeb to sell it here.

It wouldn't be anything I would sell. Just some quick YouTube videos. Coming up on 25k soon, I will try and record the oil change at least, specify to mention the drain plug. : )

Just changed my fork oil...
There's some good stuff on Youtube already. Not Buell specific, but still very useful.

Froggy,

I have been itching to take a ride up to NY to visit family. My parents live in Athens NY and my brother in Peekskill. I have professional video equipment (especially needed wireless mic). It might be a project I would love to help with. I'm with you being able to see someone do this type of stuff is priceless.

Great idea. I got a 17 disc set for my 01 goldwing and I could do just about anything I needed to on the Wing. It was made by a fellow by the name of Harmon. He had to sell them just so he could make them and cover his cost. Worth their weight. I also got a set of I think 4 or 5 discs for my fiance's F650GS BMW. They also were great for doing stuff, including tearing down the bike to the frame. If you folks made one, (or a set) please put me on the list. With a shop manual and the video's the bike is even easier to work upon.
