I ordered the side racks for my 08 yesterday thanks to finding part numbers on here. Does anyone have the list of needed hardware?? The dealer wasn't all that interested in finding all of it for me. Or does someone have the parts catalog pages that they could email and I could just get it somewhere other than the dealer...thanks.

Yooper71- I see you are near me. I do not have a Buell yet but you may want to try Stock's H-D in Manitowoc. They were very nice to my wife and I even though we were there to look at Buells. Sales guy "JB" is great and unlike Appleton H-D they talk to you if you want a Buell. May be worth the phone call to their parts department plus its a nice ride to go pick up your parts.

Hi Yooper,

Can you post the rack part numbers. I can't find them.

Thanks,
Glenn

as posted by ratbuell...

Without getting into the multitude of nuts, bolts and washers, the rack part numbers for the stock X/XT side case racks are:

90089-05Y right side, $83.00
90085-05Y left side, $83.00
90090-05y cross brace (left to right under taillight), $65.00

Again - these do not include nuts, bolts, washers, the little rubber tape rub-stop pieces, etc.; just the three main pieces.

does anyone have a hardware list or a page from the parts catalog??

Oh yea you might want to get the bolts and junk from a hardware store. I went to order a replacement set after i lost mine, ended up being like $50 before i told the parts guy to cancel the order. Get everything plus a few extras for $1.07 at my hardware store.
