My parts guide lists the following part: M0549.1AD, Fender, outer (Australia). But no diagram. Since it's a $110 part as opposed to the USA Uly's $20 rear hugger, what's so different about it? Can one of you guys post a couple pix? Thanks! | ||

Oops, sorry! I'm thinking you guys get a larger rear fender with/instead of the little hugger we get here. The parts book doesn't describe an "outer fender" except for Aussie bikes. Thanks! | ||

Xbimmer, here is a shot of my Uly with the hugger nicely highlighted in grime. The only thing removed from mine is the reflector that should sit below the number plate (removed by the dealer in the pre-delivery). It doesn't look to be obviously different to the marketing shots of the Uly but you might be able to spot something - (certainly not something worth $80 I would have thought).  | ||

Thanks Rays, well now I'm thoroughly confused.  Your rear hugger looks like mine and I don't see anything extra there. So what's a "Fender, outer (Australia)" anyway and why does it cost so much??? | ||

Wow I'm confused too, here's some closer shots of my aus-uly:   Like Rays said we have a reflector which sits below the number plate on a steel bracket... doesn't last long though.  So it's definitely something on the rear? Not a front fender?  | ||

A few offs on the Buell as usual but nothing fatal, actually the last time was up your way on the way home from the advrider xmas party hahaha. Barrington Tops Road is unreal! But the Uly is not a motard  Oh man I never replied to your SMS or email!!! Shit sorry mate, just got very very caught up in life; work, difficult girl, mountain biking, and a couple of mates did come a cropper unfortunately. Getting my priorities back in order now though haha. I'll check in at ABR and BRCA soon  And sorry I never got back to you, especially about the BRCA commitee, looks like you's are doing great! |
