Saw a post somewhere of a real honest to goodness aluminum skid plate/pan for the Uly. Was a real aluminum piece, mounted in the front and side just like a real dirt bike skip plate. Think I'm a-gonna hafta make something. Something that won't cost a buncha Deutchmarks, something steel (aluminum is pretty and light, but... not to mention I'm not set up to heliarc), something that will protect the oil filter but make it easy to remove too, without removing a bunch of stuff. With a flat bottom for convenient jacking. Wish me luck. And time to do it. Winter project? | ||
